Aggregate MiningSME has a strong history of providing environmental consulting services for aggregate mining projects from start to finish.  From Environmental Site Assessments prior to excavation, to water quality monitoring during operations, and restoration and mitigation procedures as required by the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety.  SME’s extensive experience involves preparing and coordinating Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments, Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) Discharge Permits and Stormwater Management Plans.  We have a comprehensive knowledge of current US Army Corps of Engineers and CDPHE requirements for maintaining compliance for the duration of aggregate mining operations. SME has a record of long term projects, including the gravel mine at the Keyah-Grande Ranch.
