Communications is a growing industry in the Four Corners regions. As communities grow, demand for communication infrastructure requires the installation of fiber optic cables, cell phone towers, and overhead lines. We are capable of servicing the communications industry with linear surveys for overhead or underground cable installation and maintenance projects, migratory bird and raptor surveys, as well as any other environmental consulting need to serve the communications industry.

- Jade Communications. Prepared a PCN for USACE NWP 12, CDOT Initial Site Assessment (ISA), Biological Assessment (BA), and Stormwater Management Plan (SWMP) for 59 miles of undergound fiber optic utility installation within CDOT Right-of-Way, Conejos, Colorado, 2018.
- Blanca Telephone Company. As part of CDOT environmental clearances, SME prepared a BA and ISA for fiber optic installation within CDOT Right-of-Way in Alamosa, Colorado in 2018.
- Blanca Telephone Company. Prepared a PCN for USACE NWP 12, CDOT ISA, BA, and SWMP for 13.9 miles of undergound fiber optic utility installation within CDOT Right-of-Way, La Jara, Colorado, 2018.
- Blanca Telephone Company. Prepared a PCN for USACE NWP 12, CDOT ISA, BA, and SWMP for 7.7 miles of undergound fiber optic utility installation, Antonito, Colorado, 2018
- San Luis Valley Rural Electric Coop. As part of CDOT environmental clearances, SME prepared an Aquatic Resources Delineation, PCN for NWP 12, and SWMP for 9.3 miles of underground fiber optic utility within CDOT Right-of-Way along the Rio Grande River near Creede, Colorado, 2018.
